No house full of strange people would be complete without a man with a mysterious past, and Ezekiel begrudgingly fits that bill. He's quiet, keeps to himself, and when forced to interact with his housemates, is brisk and to the point. Still, he never raises his voice, and despite his standoffish attitude, has shown himself to be kind and considerate when appropriate.
Despite his past being a complete mystery to most of the residents of the house, it seems that Liz and Simon both know considerably more than they admit. Ezekiel goes out of his way to avoid Simon, and it appears that Simon does the same. Whatever transpired between the two; neither seems willing to revisit it.
¶ Abilities
Ezekiel is not human, he is a magical creature, a Nephilim to be specific. The word has roots in Judaeo-Christian mythology, but he is not a creature manifested by the Judaeo-Christian God. He and his kind have been known by many words, including Angels, Demons, Devas, Malachim, or even Demigods. They can be attuned to Light or Dark magic, though their personalities and tendencies toward good or evil are not defined by their attunement.
¶ Physical Enhancement
As a Nephilim, Ezekiel has enhanced physical attributes. He's faster, stronger and heals quicker than a human would. He's also immune to mundane posions and diseases. He's technically immortal, in the sense he doesn't age and is hard to kill, but he can die.
His powers include:
- Shapeshifting
- Flight
- He often manifests huge, feathered wings when he flies, though this is not actually necessary.
- Frightful presence
- In his natural form, his presence has a supernatural effect on mortals, inducing fear, dread and awe.
- Inhuman strength/speed
- Immortality
- He has lived a very long time, and the ways to kill his kind are known only to a few.
- Farsight
- This is the ability to 'scry' over great distances.
