- 1 cup (210g) Indian basmati rice
- 1 1/4 cup (312.5ml) cold water
- Pressure Cook Basmati Rice: Place 1 cup (210g) basmati rice and 1 1/4 cup (312.5ml) cold water in Instant Pot Pressure Cooker.
- With Venting Knob in Venting Position, close the lid, then turn Venting Knob to Sealing Position.
- Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 6 minutes + 10 minutes Natural Release. Open the lid carefully.
- Serve: Fluff the basmati rice with the rice spatula or fork, then serve with your favorite main dish. Enjoy.
Note: For harder rice, do 1 cup(250ml) water instead.
